Our Room

Here is a picture of the outside of our cruise room.  I forgot to put it in the last entry.  We were on the 8th floor.  I got to press the button on the elevator every once in a while.  Abbie would frequently beat me to it.

Exploring the Wonder

Here I am on one of the life preservers on board.  We were on the Disney Wonder for our three day cruise.  I am really excited.

Here is the top of the ship.  There were three pools on board on the 9th deck.  This is the top deck.  They had a LARGE SCREEN television for the middle pool.   That was the family pool.  They had another pool for adults only and a smaller pool for really small children.  I really love walking around the deck.
Here is the Mickey Pool.  I can't wait to go swimming!

Here is Abbie and I running around the top deck.  That ship is really big!

Here I am in the adult restaurant called Palo.  You have to be a grown up to go here.  You even have to wear really fancy clothes.   Captain Mickey let me visit it before the grown-ups came.

Overprotective!

Mrs. Cowan made me wear the life jacket once we were on board.  It took Minnie and Captain Mickey over an hour to convince her that I would be safe on the ship.  I was grateful to them so I did not have to wear this life jacket for my ENTIRE cruise.  That would have been really uncomfortable.  Well, I am off to explore the ship some more.

On Board!

Finally, at 11:45, we were allowed on board. That ship was huge!  As we came aboard, the crew welcomed us by announcing us to everyone on board.   We were among the very first passengers since we arrived so early so the ship was pretty empty.  It was neat looking around all over the place.
We went to our cabin first.  It was a nice size cabin with a private deck for us to go out on.   Mr. Cowan was kind enough to let me look out from the balcony.  You can see the trucks loading the ship.  Our cabin also had a refrigerator, a bathroom, closets, a television, and a divider.  I could watch all sorts of movies on the television, including High School Musical 3.  Maybe Mrs. Cowan will let me watch it tonight.
After we spent some time exploring our cabin, we went exploring the ship.  The first place we stopped at was the Oceaneer Club.  This was a play area just from 3 to 5 year olds.  Abbie and I played for about an hour.  I slid down a slide, climbed a rope ladder, played on a computer, watched a play, played with blocks and so much more.   The slide was my favorite part of the play area because I got to slide on it all by myself!  I strongly recommend stopping by the play area if you ever go on a cruise.  It really was cool!

Well, that is all for now.  Stay tuned for further updates!

Our Journey Begins

Well, today is Thursday, November 6 and we are on our way to Port Canaveral.  Mr. Cowan even let me sit behind the wheel in the van at a rest area.  He wouldn't let me drive though because I am to young.  He also made me ride in a car seat just to be safe.

After the car ride, we finally arrive at the Disney Cruise Terminal.  Mrs. Cowan, Abbie and I are very excited.

All I can say is WOW!  Even the terminal was neat looking.  There was a huge model of the ship for me to look at.  Captain Mickey and Captain Goofy stopped by while we waited to board the ship. The terminal even has a place where you can look at the ship outside from the balcony.  Stay tuned!

AWESOME!

Mrs. Cowan said she had a surprise for me but I had no idea it would be a CRUISE!  I have never been on a cruise before.  I have been on a plane, a train, in a car (even a police car), on a bus, and even a van but never a cruise.  I get to go on a cruise on the Disney Wonder for 3 days and nights.  I even get to pal around with a kid for the trip.  Mrs. Cowan said I could keep her daughter Abbie company.  Abbie just turned 4 years old yesterday so it should be fun.

A SURPRISE!

I had a great time with Melissa this past weekend.  I was supposed to go home with someone else this week but Mrs. Cowan said she had a surprise for me.  I am not sure what it is but I am looking forward to it.  Until then, have a great week!

Florida / Georgia Weekend

Today we got to go to the stadium during the Florida / Georgia game. There were lots of people and it was really crowded. We did not get to stay very long, but we did watch the game at Melissa's grandmother's house. I'll be meeting a new friend on Monday when we go back to school, but I enjoyed spending time with my friend Melissa. TTFN, Proud Panther.
